Hundreds of saved photos. Zero booked trips. We built SnapTrip because we were tired of dreaming about travel and never actually going.

We're Dipak and Suprabha — husband and wife, parents of two, and the kind of people who screenshot 200 travel photos a year and visit exactly zero of those places.
Dipak is a software engineer and entrepreneur. Suprabha is a CPA. Between work, kids, school runs, and the general chaos of life — planning a trip felt like a part-time job nobody applied for.
We grew up in Nepal — a country with some of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth — and even wecouldn't find time to plan trips properly. The research phase alone killed every trip before it started.
So we asked two simple questions: what if a photo was all you needed to plan a trip? And what if you didn't even need the photo — just your preferences?
Those questions became SnapTrip — an AI that can either identify any location from a photo or find your perfect destination based on your budget, dates, and interests — and show whether the trip is realistic before building the plan. No browsing. No tabs. No pretending every itinerary is equally doable.

The average person spends 13 hours planning a one-week trip. Thirteen hours of comparing flights, reading hotel reviews, piecing together day-by-day routes across six browser tabs and three apps.
If you're a working parent with limited PTO, a professional squeezing trips between deadlines, or someone who just wants to make a fast decision and go— the current system isn't built for you. It's built for people with unlimited free time.
The result? Most people don't plan fewer trips because they don't want to travel. They plan fewer trips because planning is the bottleneck.

“I saw a place — plan the trip for me.”
Upload any travel photo — a screenshot, a postcard, a random snap — and SnapTrip identifies the place, checks cost and ease, then builds the plan.
Preferences → Best fit
“I want to travel — find the trip I can actually take.”
Tell us your budget, dates, interests, and who's traveling — SnapTrip compares realistic destinations and explains the best fit.
Both modes lead to the same decision hub
Most travel tools help you search. SnapTrip eliminates the search entirely.
Upload any image — a screenshot, a postcard, a random snap from your camera roll — and see whether that trip is realistic before you plan it.
SnapTrip checks budget, season, travel ease, hidden-cost risk, and fit before asking you to commit to a day-by-day plan.
ChatGPT gives ideas. SnapTrip gives scores, compare cards, saved trip memory, checklists, and shareable next steps.
Not bucket-list fantasies for trust-fund backpackers. Plans that account for your budget, your PTO days, and the fact that you might have kids.
Everyone knows Everest. Almost nobody knows Tsum Valley, Rara Lake, or Upper Dolpo — places that would make your jaw drop. Information asymmetry keeps incredible destinations invisible.
As Nepalis, this is deeply personal. SnapTrip's Nepal module surfaces 15 world-class treks with real permit costs, altitude safety data, and detailed itineraries — so travelers experience the real Nepal, not just the postcard version.

Every feature we build, every line of code we write, serves one goal: help people travel more with less friction. Because life is too short for 13-hour planning sessions.
Got a photo? Upload it. Don't know where to go? Tell us what you want. Either way — see what is realistic before you commit.
